The Noven Foundation has two passions- Supporting foster youth, one experience at a time, and improving the lives of animals in need.

Support to go beyond the basics for children in care.

The foster care system under-invests in children’s development, providing less than 50% of what the average American family spends to raise a child from infancy to 17 years old.

Only 50% of children in foster care graduate high school; high school dropout rates are 3x higher for foster youth than other low-income children.

Of those, a mere 3% will go on to complete a college degree

It’s far from controversial to say all children deserve a childhood. The Noven Foundation provides beyond the basics, financially supporting extracurricular activities for children in foster care in Colorado. Creating opportunities outside of school provides children with mentorship, friendship, a strong foundation and place of security.

Improving the lives of animals.

The Noven Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of animals in need. Through compassionate advocacy, community outreach, and innovative programs, we strive to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome vulnerable pets. Our mission is to raise awareness about animal welfare, promote responsible pet ownership, and provide vital resources to shelters and rescue organizations. Join us in creating a world where every animal is treated with love and respect, and together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of countless furry friends.

Support for Extracurricular Pursuits

Extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs and teams, music and other individualized interests allow children to better develop their sense of self and realize their own self worth.

Pet Rescue

Pet rescue has many faces. We support existing rescues and innovative ideas to change the future of homeless pets.
